in a good book!
I have always dreamed of being a writer, ever since I was a little girl. But horses and boys got in the way...now I finally can pursue my career and explore new for fiction. I do not have any particular set style in mind (if you knew me you would understand...squirrel!)
Since my accident and then my assault, I have struggled both physically and emotionally on so many levels. Depression and anxiety can be a serious side effect of these incidents and writing has been one of few sources of relief. When I have bad head days or my balance is so bad I can barely walk, I have to remind myself that I am still living and the concussion and other problems the attackers subjected me to could have been worse. They could have killed me. In fact, to this day I don't know why they didn't...(I can not remember the end of the assault. Maybe my subconscious doesn't want to remember?)
Maybe someday my head and body will heal, until then I just do the best I can and go day by day.
I do appreciate all the love and support over these past years. There's been lots of ups and downs, but mostly blessed with a great family and some of the best friends anyone could ever imagine.
